There are many opportuntities to see live harp performance:
Saturdays:
11/15- 10:30-noon– Over 30 harps in recital at the 160 year-old Lyon & Healy Harp Factory, 168 N. Ogden Ave., Chicago. Free and open to the public
12/13- 3pm– Janelle Lake, harp performs works by Britten, Hasselmans, and others with the Chicago Community Chorus and Dr. Keith Hampton
Sundays:
12/14- 12-8pm– Students of Janelle Lake perform at the Live Nativity
Compass Church, Naperville:
4pm and 6pm-Janelle plays harp at Holy Trinity’s annual Christmas Concert, Downtown Campus
12/21- 6-8pm– Solo harp music and Labyrinth Walk,
First Congregational Church of Western Springs,
Wednesdays:
12/10– Solo harp for the patrons of Beverly Bank holiday party, 6-8pm
12/24- 4pm and 7pm, Christmas Eve Services at The Chicago Temple, First United Methodist Church,
12/31- 6-9pm– New Year’s Eve Celebration at the Sunset Ridge Country Club
Thursdays:
12/11-12-2pm-Northwestern’s McCormick School Holiday Party
Fridays:
12/5, 12/12, 12/19, 12/26, 1/2- 4:30-7:30pm– open requests at The Park Shore Condominium, 195 Harbor, Chicago
